Our long-term vision is to create a vibrant, inclusive space where children and families can learn, play, and grow together through hands-on STEAM-based exploration. We imagine a place where curiosity is sparked, creativity is nurtured, and community is built - right here in Warren County.
Our ultimate goal is to open a full-scale, permanent museum on a beautiful property surrounded by the amazing nature McMinnville and Warren County have to offer. The space will include interactive exhibits, indoor and outdoor learning areas, and year-round programming designed to inspire young minds.
1. Build community Support
We are growing awareness through events, outreach, and partnerships - because this museum belongs to everyone.
2. Raise Essential Funding
Through donations, grants, and fundraising events, we're working to secure the resources needed to purchase land and develop our future home.
3. Launch Programs Now
With pop-up exhibits, The MCM Tinker-Takeout kits, and community events, we are bringing the museum experience to families while we build toward our permanent space.
4. Secure the Property, Design the building, & Build the Museum
We are working to acquire property that will serve as the future home of The McMinnville Children's Museum. Once the land is secured, we'll begin the planning and construction phase, working with educators, designers, and families to build a museum that reflects our mission and vision.
5. Open Our Doors
Our dream is to welcome families into the completed McMinnville Children's Museum in the next few years - marking a beginning of a new era of play and possibility for our community.

Absolutely! We plan to offer quiet play hours multiple times a week and are committed to designing spaces and experiences that support every child. We welcome input from families and professionals as we build a museum that truly serves ALL children.
Inclusion is at the heart of our mission. We're intentionally building relationships with families, educators, and local organizations to understand the needs of ALL children in our community. From physical accessibility and sensory considerations to culturally inclusive programming and equitable pricing models, we are committed to creating a museum where everyone feels welcome, represented, and able to fully participate.
We are excited to keep the momentum going!
